Considering a home renovation and don’t know where to start? Need interior design inspiration? Thinking of incorporating smart technology into your home?
Then you should visit the 2019 Sudbury Home & Lifestyle Show where professionals specializing in home and cottage construction, interior and exterior design, and home products and services will be ready to help.
“The Sudbury and District Home Builders Association (SDHBA) is proud to be hosting its 36th edition of the Home Show, explains Sudbury and District Home Builders Association President, Karla Colasimone. “Giving back to the community and building partnerships are what drives our association. With the addition of a Lifestyle theme, we are hopeful we will attract even greater numbers to this year’s Show. We have also partnered with Cambrian College, whose carpentry and welding students will be creating great projects to be raffled at the end of the Show. These students are the future of the industry, and it’s great to have them on board.”
Louie Zagordo, the owner of SLV Homes and Past President of the SDHBA, stresses the importance of participating in the Home Show explaining that it is a great way for reputable renovators and builders to present themselves as community stakeholders to the public. He adds that SLV Homes has had both potential clients and past clients stop by their booth to talk about future projects. “[The Home Show] is a 10 hour day, but if [we] can connect with one project or one job, it’s well worth it!”
In partnership with Cambrian College, several carpentry and welding students are building a She-Shed and 4 gorgeous Fire Pits, all of which will be raffled at the end of the Show.
Children can visit the Kid’s Building Area and build a project of their own! All programs in the Kid’s Building Area will be lead by the great staff at Camp Quality, a national charitable organization devoted to providing free camp experiences and year-round programming for children with cancer and hematological conditions.
